Beim Weltranglistenturnier konnten die Sportler wieder gut mithalten, besonders stark war diesmal Binay Karki in der Kadettenklasse -41 Kilogramm, der Platz 5 erk\u00e4mpfte. Er konnte sich durch einen Golden Point (4. Runde) den Einzug ins Viertelfinale sichern, im Kampf um die Medaille muss er sich jedoch gegen den belgischen Lokalmatador mit 17:9 geschlagen geben.
